Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, popularly known as Anthony Joshua, is a British professional boxer who has made a significant impact on the world of heavyweight boxing. Born on October 15, 1989, in Watford, United Kingdom, Joshua's rise to prominence has been nothing short of remarkable.

Growing up in a Nigerian family, Joshua spent a significant part of his childhood in Nigeria before returning to the UK. Throughout his early years, he displayed a natural athleticism and excelled in various sports, including football and athletics. Joshua's boxing journey began when he was 18 years old, after being encouraged by his cousin to visit Finchley Amateur Boxing Club in London. Joshua turned professional in 2013, signing with Matchroom Sport and Eddie Hearn as his promoter.
